THIS HOTEL IS SUPERB IN LOCATION. YOU ARRIVE FROM THE AIRPORT, TAKE THE STEAMER AND GET OFF AT RIALTO, WALK TWO OR THREE BLOCKS AND THERE IS THE HOTEL. IT IS LOCATED BEHIND THE PLAZA DE SAN MARCOS, A SUPER 100 METERS. IT IS A LITTLE OLD HOTEL THAT URGES YOU TO CHANGE THE CARPET AND THAT THE BATHROOM THAT TOUCHED US HAD NEITHER CURTAIN NOR DOOR THE SHOWER AREA . IT IS URGENT TO PUT IT!
THAT THE BATHROOM AREA HAD NO CURTAIN OR PARTITION, Nothing. RECOMMENDATION: WE WANTED TO HAVE DINNER AT 10 PM AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE, USUALLY THEY EAT EARLY AND THE RESTAURANTS CLOSE AT 11 AT THE MOST, 12, DEPENDING ON THE DAY. TAKE IT INTO ACCOUNT. ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION, DON'T GO WHERE YOU SEE A MENU WITH AN ECONOMIC PRICE, BEFORE YOU ENTER ASK FOR A PRICE FOR COVERED AND THE SUPPOSED GOVERNMENT TAX, BECAUSE IN THE END YOU WANT TO EAT NOT SO EXPENSIVE AND YOU PAY A FORTUNE!!!!

I loved the hotel! Excellent staff (although not Russian-speaking, all perfectly speak English). location is wonderful! couple of minutes and you're in San Marco Square. Nearby is a restaurant, falling asleep listening to classical music, absolutely unobtrusive, sounded not loud and melodies are very calm and plus you could hear the bells ringing from the square, gave a certain flavor. hotel was clean, cleaned every day, bed was changed often, I even thought that every day. hotel has an elevator.
I apologize to the hotel in advance, I didn't like the breakfast, unfortunately. Basically we took with breakfasts, did not want to run, look for a cafe, was located right at the hotel, I wanted to go with full strength in the morning for new impressions, it did not happen. They were quite scanty, monotonous. only thing that changed was the baking: cakes, there were not many of them - one or two cakes and same with cakes. One type of cheese, three types of sausage/ ham. At least they changed the species... All in all, fruit, yogurt. It was all that and I'm still picking on it. the WiFi was bad, most of the time it was connected to the Internet in restaurants, in the hotel Vis all the time. the windows in our hotel were looking at the windows of the next one. everywhere, who needs a view, then we need hotels overlooking the Grand Canal.

Reasonably priced rooms. Great food in the restaurant. - Excellent breakfast with ham and cappuccino. - Perfect location, not too close to the bus station and about a 20-minute walk to Venice center. - Close to a gothic-renaissance church.

- Excellent location, rooms looked very nice (we stayed in a venetian style room) - good breakfast - nice staff - good price
-Not enough electrical outlets and the existing ones not positioned very good. Had to unplug the tv and a lamp so I can charge my cell phones, netbook and most important my camera. -Not the best sound proofing

Perfect location 5 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square and a couple of minutes more to the Rialto Bridge in the other direction. To reach the hotel the best vaporetto stop is the Rialto Bridge. We were able to get in around 11am, they already had a room available. The right breakfast although there is no hot food (fried eggs, scrambled or omelette, bacon, others). Abundance of sweets. Although the check out is early (at 11), they kept our bags for us until we went to the airport.
The room wasn't bad and it wasn't small, but it needed a renovation. Relatively large but poorly distributed bathroom with no curtain or screen in the bathtub. The sound insulation should be improved. The room faced the main street and one side, and you could hear noise from the street and a restaurant just below. As we were tired, we didn't bother to sleep.

Hotel is placed in the very heart of the Venice City and just takes 5 minutes to reach the Piazza di San Marco. It is very old hotel but that absolutely reflects the Classic Venician Style.
The breakfast is very poor and needs to be improved. And the bathrooms....Since there is no glass around the bath tube, you are just getting so confused in which position you need to get your shower in order not to turn the bathroom floor into a small lake. It is written over the shower "Call for help"... When you experience your first shower, you understand why they put that plate over there....cos you really need a help of someone else to hold your showerhead while you are showering......

Location. Unmistakenly Venetian
Lack of the kind of facilities we are used to. Very small showerroom, small bedroom.lack of bar. Small cramped breakfast room. In the 4 nights we were there we must have dealt with at least 6 different people behind the small reception desk, none of whom seemed very interested in the people staying in the hotel.

Fantastic hotel, very very good breakfast!
It's fairly clean hotel nestled in a historic style building in the very quiet area. Pleasant staff, romantic and compact rooms with a terrace overlooking the St marks campanelli and balcony and a bath. Fantastic services! The early check-in process too...
